Opet - Anlat Troya

Story of Troy – Interactive Documentary Project On the 20th year of being included in UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage list, 2018 is announced as the Year of Troy. Our brand Opet, started a restorational, reconstructional and educational process in village of Tevfikiye, Çanakkale which is located on the area of Troy. The goal was to turn the village into an open-air museum by the year 2018. During the process, we recorded the daily lives of the Last Trojans living in the village of Tevfikiye. We learned the past, present and future of the village, directly from the villagers.   Documentary was released under the name “Anlat Troya” in theatres, documentary channels, and on Youtube. Interactive version of the documentary was released on AnlatTroya.com. The history including Troy War, Homer, treasure hunters, and struggles of villagers combined and turned into a timeless story, supported with animatic illustrations.
